Letters to Charlotte: 13 months old!

Dear Charlotte:

Well baby girl, you're no longer considered a baby! You're officially a toddler now, and boy are you enjoying it. Between your little gym classes and your new found skill of walking - you're unstoppable. You pretty much play with everything you got for your birthday, which surprised me. Your favorite, however, is the red wagon. Oh how you love the red wagon. You want to sit and play in it while we're in the house, you get so excited to go on walks in it. It's hands down your favorite thing right now. You don't even have to be moving, we threw in a few toys and you're content to just sit in the wagon and play!

This month found you really perfecting your walking skills. You still crawled some, but each day it was less and less. You love chasing Crew around. Granny took you to our neighborhood park and you loved it! You enjoyed the slides...

I believe at this point you have just about a full set of teeth. Thank goodness you're out of that painful process! You also went to a football game for the first time this season - the A&M/Bama game. You enjoyed it for the most part. It was a tough day for you, because an ear infection set in early and it was really hot. You refuse to sleep if there's anything going on, so you were also tired. You did get to go watch the game in the MSC with your Mamaw and your Nanny - so I think you enjoyed that. We went home pretty soon after the game was over so we could get you some medicine. It was definitely a drag to get another ear infection - we'd so hoped you'd be done with those by now! Thankfully we had the ear drops that cleared it right up. Your dr called to check up on you and he brought you in for peace of mind. Tubes look great, and the infection cleared up in a couple of days.

This month brought some pretty big news - which led to not much else happening towards the end of the month. :) More on that later.... Here are a few quick shots from this month, we love you!!
