I'm very behind, so this will be quick - but I can't over look it! You had a big month - you were Baptized! All the family came in to see you and we had a great weekend. You like tummy time now, and love checking everything out. You are so observant - you lock eyes and just stare!! We broke out the exersaucer this month and you seemed to enjoy it. Your sister really loved seeing it and wanted to crawl in with you! You are still the happiest baby - you only cry when you don't get fed fast enough. :) You had a GREAT month!!
You were baptized on August 17th at SJV. Father Troy did the service - he did Charlotte's too! You did so good, you got a little hungry - but were awake the whole time with no tears. The oil they put on your head smelled lovely. Afterward everyone went over to your Granny and Paw Paw's house to visit and play with you. You enjoyed getting held by everyone and do not mind being passed around at all!
We still swaddle you at night and you seem to enjoy it and sleep well like that. You like sleeping on your back or tucked on your side against Mommy. Your sister has always slept on her tummy - but not you!
You are so talkative too - you make TONS of noises all the time. You'll engage us in conversation and just coo back and forth. You continue to be enamored by your sister. Anytime she's around you smile and just stare at her.
Big milestone this monh - you rolled over!! You did it at school and it took you quite a while to roll for Mommy and Daddy! I'm talking a few weeks. Apparently you only liked to roll at school when you had the mirror in front of you so you can see yourself. Silly girl.
You're still nursing in the evenings and on weekends, basically any time mommy is around. You act quite offended if you're offered a bottle when I'm around. Sticking to 100% breastmilk - trying to save some money! And it seems to agree with you so well - just check out your growth stats listed below.
Health:
You're very healthy still - and are growing like a weed. As you can tell from the height stats - you grew 3 inches in a month!!! I continue to be amazed by how well you're growing and progressing. You had a few shots at your 4 month check up - which you weren't a fan of. You got an excellent bill of health and he was very happy to see how well you were doing.
Weight: 14 lb 3 oz, 54th percentile
Height: 26 in, 96th percentile
Diaper Size: Size 2, but not much longer!
Clothes: 6 months, 6-9 months, and 9 months!
