Just another Friday night

Today I came home to find this at our kitchen door:

Yay! Baby P's crib has arrived, and in a HUGE box. This is going to be fun. But maybe not as much fun as Crew had today....

Luckily no shoes today! ;)

Once I got that cleaned up, Chris got home so it was time to bring in the giant box. This was not easy.

We had to open it downstairs and carry everything up, piece by piece. That was probably the easiest way to do it - considering the box weighed over 125 lbs. Good times. We got everything upstairs and started to dive in.

Chris assembled one drawer, then we decided to take a break and eat dinner. Well, that and see what kind of damage awaited us again downstairs. Crew was a little hungry and started eating the crib box. Luckily we'd already gotten all the important things upstairs! When we got back to work, things went pretty smoothly!

And after 2 hours and very minimal frustration - the finished product!!

Crew came to inspect our work. Don't be fooled, he did not help!

It feels good to have one big thing down. We love her crib, it's beautiful. A nice perk is that it converts to a toddler bed AND a full size bed, so we'll get lots of use out of it! (As long as we're able to keep up with those extra pieces.......)
